Sean Connery – wanted in Indiana Jones V
The 79-year-old actor could return to the big screen in the role of the famous teacher adventurer’s father, in a new film of the series.
Connery was asked by producers to participate in the previous film, “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”, in which would be played Indiana Jones’s father, but the actor refused. However, the producers are wishing to persuade Connery to return in the fifth film of the franchise.
“Steven Spielberg has been working on a screenplay with George Lucas and there is a part of the story that would allow Sean Connery to return. Anything is possible in these films, and if Sean wants to return he will become the central figure of the new stories”, said a source close to the producers.
