Elton John has postponed his concerts due to a bacterial infection
Elton John was forced to postpone his upcoming concerts because of his poor health – he suffers from an infection of the bacterium E. coli (Escherichia coli).
The singer, aged 62 years, who has a cold, is currently treated at King Edward VII Hospital in central London. To fully recover, doctors have advised him to cancel his next three concerts, which were scheduled for 4, 7 and 10 November.
The concerts organizers wouldn’t want to cancel the concerts, but to postpone them, so now they are trying to establish a new schedule for the shows: “All those who have already bought tickets for the three concerts are asked to hold the tickets until a new date will be established”, says a message on the official website of the artist.
