American actor Edward Norton was the fastest celebrity in the New York marathon, organized for charitable purposes to raise funds for Maasai Wilderness Conservation Organization, which conducts a humanitarian campaign in Kenya.
The star crossed the 41 kilometers race finish line in three hours, 48 minutes and one second, ahead of other showbiz stars like Alanis Morissette and “ER”, Anthony Edwards.
Norton, 40 years old, described the experience as “phenomenal” and said he was pleased beating the time of former U.S. Vice-President candidate, Sarah Palin, who finished the race in four hours.
