Bryan Cranston and Glenn Close have received the Emmy Award for Best Actor and Best Actress in a Drama Series for the second consecutive year.

Bryan Cranston was rewarded for his performance in the TV series “Breaking Bad”, in which he plays a chemistry teacher diagnosed with cancer in terminal phase that associates with a former student to manufacture methamphetamine.

Glenn Close won a new Emmy for playing lawyer Patty Hewes, in the series “Damages”. For 62-year-old actress is the third Emmy award in her carrier.
Michael Emerson, the interpret of the character Ben Linus from “Lost” and Cherry Jones, President of the United States in ‘24 ‘, received the award for Best Actor and Best Actress in a Drama Series.
Alec Baldwin from “30 Rock” and Toni Collette, from the “United States of Tara”, received an Emmy Award for best male lead role and that best actress in a comedy series.
Toni Collette’s victory meant that Tina Fey, from the sitcom “30 Rock” missed the trophy for the second consecutive year. She received however an award for playing Sarah Palin in the show “Saturday Night Live”.
Kristin Chenoweth from “Pushing Daisies” and Jon Cryer ( “Two and a Half Men”) have won an Emmy Award for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
Jeff Probst won an Emmy for best reality show presenter for “Survivor”.
“The Amazing Race” won his seventh consecutive Emmy in the category reality show.
